About the project

Truist Bank is a large American financial institution formed in December 2019 after the merger of BB&T and SunTrust Banks. It is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, and today it is one of the biggest banks in the United States. Truist provides a wide range of services such as personal and business banking, loans, mortgages, credit cards, savings accounts, investment banking, wealth management, and insurance. With billions in assets and thousands of branches and ATMs across many U.S. states, Truist serves millions of customers and focuses on supporting individuals, businesses, and communities through its financial solutions.

Task

Users find the current loan process confusing and slow. Too many steps, unclear eligibility, heavy forms, and no real-time guidance make people drop off before completing the loan application.

Solution

Create a simple, guided loan flow with clear progress steps, minimal form fields, and smart auto-fill. Show quick eligibility checks, upfront loan details, and real-time help (chat or tooltips). Add document upload from mobile, instant status tracking, and a clean dashboard so users can start, pause, and finish the loan application smoothly without confusion.
